Description
The cold frozen landscape was briefly flooded with the amazing pink and mauve colors as the winter day ended. Kootenay Lake in Brithish Columbia Canada is the head waters of the might Columbia River in the USA. My parents owned Rainbow Lodge on Kootenay Lake, and from one of their rental cabins I painted this watercolor.
