This old root cellar still functions perfectly and has ever since it was built. Having lived there myself I can attest to it\'s amazing ability to preserve food for an entire winter. Edward now enjoys this very well built root cellar. Before fridges there were root cellars, and we had to go outside to bring the food inside to cook and eat it. Those were the days!
